Moving children toward the center of our focus reveals the importance of developmentally appropriate practices and self-directed play. My program presents the necessary components of a meaningful curriculum shaped around childhood. If we begin to treasure who children are, not just who we want them to be, a natural shift occurs in how we think and process the early childhood environment. We begin to treasure education for the opportunity it presents and the foundation it builds.
