Summer Season Highlights |

The preschool curriculum is strongly based on supporting children's interests,
well being, physical development and social awareness. These facets of
development are interlocking. It's a philosophy that allows each child to grow to
his/her fullest potential. I believe that appropriate development occurs in an
enriched environment where children are encouraged and challenged. It is my
goal to support children in developing a loving attitude towards others and
embrace the wonder and excitement of education.
My philosophy for learning highlights the creative arts, Waldorf and Gardner
theories, as well as health. Wellness concepts such as nutrition, awareness,
independent thinking, and natural stages of child development are explored.
Creative activities concentrate on areas of social-emotional, physical, language,
cultural awareness, intellect, music and art. By creating a program that is
personally sensitive to each child and their emotional development, the learning
process is uniquely blended with a child's sense of self.
My program combines the experiences of friendship, creativity and inspiration to
create a nurturing environment your child is sure to love!
